fig2dev software package provides Utilities for converting XFig figure files, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fig2dev
fig2dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fig2dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fig2dev *
You will get with fig2dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
